This is one for the fine wine collectors and connoisseurs. Named after the owner’s father, Ockert Tobias Venter Senior, the O.T.V. is a meticulous blend of Cabernet Franc (58%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (42%) from an exceptional Stellenbosch vintage. The grapes went through a rigorous selection process from the finest blocks in the vineyard between 300-400 m above sea level. If you have the self control to lay this one down for several years you will experience the full potential of this masterpiece.
Nose & Palate
Earthy, mineral aromas with some herbal freshness mingle with creamy, crushed raspberry and cherry, opening up to reveal notes of violet petal perfume. Similarly elegant yet powerful on the palate with lashings of dense, silky tannins masterfully joined by plush red fruit, showing beautiful vibrancy and concentration. Nuances, textures and layers of brilliance with tobacco leaf and some graphite, offering a savoury, mineral edge and dry finish.
